Day 6 - Silent evenings
As evening fell in Gothenburg, the city grew quieter. The chatter of the day faded, footsteps slowed, and the streets seemed to breathe in silence.
It struck me how unusual it felt—this calm in a world that rarely stops speaking. The silence wasn’t empty; it was full, like a blanket settling over everything.
Perhaps silence is not the absence of sound, but the presence of peace. A language that needs no translation, yet everyone understands.
Back home, evenings are often swallowed by noise—honks, calls, notifications. Here, I remembered how healing it is to end a day not in rush, but in quiet.
When was the last time your evening ended in silence, and not in noise?
