“The Peaks”

The peak of happiness is crying. The peak of sadness is laughter. And the peak of anger is silence.

Life is strange.

Have you ever been so happy that your eyes just filled up? No drama. No reason. Just a full heart that couldn’t hold it anymore. Some happy moments don’t fit into smiles, they need tears to breathe.

And then there are days when you laugh in the middle of pain. Not because it’s funny but because if you don’t laugh, you might break. That small laugh becomes your survival instinct. It’s just your way of getting through the moment.

And anger, the real anger - after the shouting, after the explanations, after trying everything to make someone understand, all that is left is silence. Not out of ego silence. Just a tired acceptance, a sign of moving on when heart knows there is no choice left - that silence. A quiet that comes from being emotionally done. The kind where you realise reacting won’t change anything. So you choose your peace instead.

Maybe emotions aren’t meant to be controlled. Maybe they are meant to be felt fully until they soften on their own.

We don’t always need to analyse what we feel. Sometimes we just need to allow it. Cry when happy. Laugh when hurting. Stay silent when words don’t matter anymore.

That’s not weakness. That’s you - quietly growing within, as a human.
